Company submissions for hosting a Monroe-Brown Intern will be reviewed by the Monroe-Brown Internship Program Committee, and will only be approved for internships geographically located in Kalamazoo County. All questions should be directed to info@monroebrown.org or (269) 324-5586.
Companies hosting Monroe-Brown Internships must agree to the following terms:
- The Monroe-Brown Foundation has permission to use your company’s name and logo in announcements of this program. This includes the website and printed materials.
- Your company will provide a paid internship of at least 400 hours at minimum of wage or higher (we recommend a wage of $12 – $20/hour).
- Monroe-Brown lnternships are summer internships and fall within the suggested guidelines of May 1st through August 31st of the program year.
- Your company will agree to give the intern a bonus of $500 at the completion of 400 hours of work. This payment serves as confirmation of completion and allows the Monroe-Brown Foundation to release funds to the student’s school. If the intern does not perform suitably, please inform the Monroe-Brown Foundation prior to completion of 200 hours.
